Bio
Wavesound is more than a DJ — he’s a sculptor of dark atmospheres and sonic landscapes that touch the irrational.
His journey began with underground cassette tapes and crystallized at New World, inspired by Oscar Mulero and Yke.
Blending raw, mental techno with artistic intuition, he crafts sets that challenge and provoke. Beyond rhythm, his sound is visceral, emotional, and designed to leave no one indifferent.

Wavesound is not just a DJ; he is a narrator of dark atmospheres and sonic landscapes that reside on the edges of the rational. His connection with electronic music was forged in childhood, surrounded by underground cassette tapes from legendary Valencian clubs his older brother used to play. But everything truly shifted one night at New World, listening to Oscar and Yke — a moment that not only changed his perception of sound but marked the beginning of a personal, untransferable journey.
His career began at private gatherings, in the intimacy of a close circle of friends, where excitement and learning went hand in hand. The turning point came on the stage of Phrenetic, sharing the lineup with heavyweights like Oscar Mulero and Cristian Varela. It was a defining moment — the thrill of belonging, but also the responsibility to leave a mark.
Wavesound’s sound lives within the realms of mental, raw, abstract techno, with a strong tendency towards the dark and sensory. He avoids the obvious, diving deep into emotional and cerebral territory. He’s not interested in merely making people dance — he aims to provoke, challenge, even disturb. As he says: "I want people to either love me or hate me — but never be indifferent."
His sonic universe is shaped by iconic labels like Axis, Tresor, Music Man, Synewave, Downwards, Blueprint, and artists like Luke Slater, Steve Rachmad, Surgeon, Steve Bicknell, James Ruskin, and of course, Oscar Mulero. But Wavesound’s vision goes far beyond sound — modern art, particularly abstract expressionism, cubism, and surrealism, deeply influences the visual and conceptual nature of his sets.
Equally technical and intuitive, Wavesound builds his sessions like evolving canvases. While grounded in precision, he is led by instinct, the product of years of dedicated listening and exploration. Today, he gravitates towards intimate club settings, where a more direct emotional feedback loop allows for genuine connection, steering away from the grandeur of large-scale festivals to embrace what’s real and raw.
Looking ahead, his greatest desire is to revive Recycled, a heartfelt project created together with the promoter Ricky — a symbol of shared vision and mutual artistic respect. And while the future remains uncertain, one thing is clear: Wavesound will continue to walk this path with the same radical passion that brought him here.
Because beyond rhythm, his sound is a sensory experience — visceral, unpolished, and at times disconcerting. A journey that refuses indifference. A call to feel beyond the obvious.
