For MØTRIX, the goal is simple: to leave a lasting emotional mark through music that moves both body and soul.
MØTRIX’s story begins in the back seat of a family car, where '80s compilation albums, blasting through the speakers, sparked an early fascination with electronic music. Between the ages of 10 and 12, upon discovering his first EDM tracks, that curiosity evolved into a visceral certainty: music had the power to stir deep emotions. Artists like Alan Walker, Martin Garrix, and Avicii became guiding lights, revealing the DJ booth as a space for both creation and human connection.
As a teenager, he found his first platforms at birthday parties, gatherings with friends, and eventually a small pub just before the pandemic. While he initially played commercial music, he already understood that the true goal was to create joy and movement. Over time, his ear shifted toward more hypnotic genres—trance, hardtrance, and psytrance—where devastating basslines meet soul-stirring melodies.
His current style is best described as an emotional journey, adaptable to the hour and the energy of the dancefloor. He avoids linear, predictable sets, preferring tension arcs that blend moments of calm with bursts of collective euphoria. For MØTRIX, track selection is 80% of the DJ’s art. He relies on intuition to read the crowd, improvising live and carrying more tracks than needed to preserve his creative freedom.
Creatively, he draws from many sources: Martin Garrix’s stage charisma taught him the power of presence; sets by FJAAK, 9x9, Klangkuenstler, and Cristóbal Pesce showed him new intensities; while contemporary trance artists like Funk Tribu and Ki/Ki inspire his continuous evolution. Beyond genres or labels, he follows a single guiding question: “Does this track make me feel something?”
His philosophy rests on three core values:
Unfiltered passion – channeling the same thrill he feels when a drop seems to freeze time.
Humility and lifelong learning – resisting creative stagnation and embracing every set as a new lesson.
Genuine connection – ensuring the audience leaves believing they’ve lived an unforgettable night.
Adapting to the environment without losing his essence is key to that vision: arriving with a broad playlist, listening to the energy left by the previous DJ, and weaving a unique narrative from there. His "deep flow state" blends rhythms that move the body with melodies that touch the heart.
On the horizon, two clear dreams shine: earning a place at Aquasella, the temple of Spanish techno, and returning as an artist to Medusa Festival, where he experienced his first euphoric moment as a fan. In the meantime, he continues refining a more mental, groove-driven sound, certain that knowing the dancefloor is knowing people.
Yet beyond the dream stages and the road ahead, one truth drives him each day: the passion for making others dance and feel. As a young man from the UK recently told him after a set:
"That was the best night of my life."
Those sincere connections are his greatest reward. Because if anything defines his artistic vision, it’s this: to leave an emotional imprint that transcends rhythm, genre, and place.
